Villa Carlotta Opens Early: Museum and Gardens Open to Visitors from February
Villa Carlotta launches the new season with early openings of the Museum and Gardens, offering visitors the opportunity to explore one of the most fascinating places on Lake Como even during the winter season.
The initiative is part of the “Garden of Talents” program, promoted by the Lake Como Villas and Museums coordination and included in the official program of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad, which accompanies the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games until March 15.
Special openings are scheduled on the following dates: February 7 and 8, February 14, 15, 16 and 17, February 21 and 22 and February 28.
Villa Carlotta and the Milano-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad
Participation in the project represents an important step in expanding the cultural offering during months that are traditionally less frequented. The aim is to attract visitors traveling along the Milan-Cortina axis and to enhance the western shore of Lake Como, between Como and Colico.
At the same time, the initiative confirms Villa Carlotta’s role as a prestigious venue for internationally significant events. On February 4, the villa hosted several meetings of the International Youth for Peace Forum, bringing together young people from around the world in a dialogue on peace, inclusion, human rights and the value of sport and culture as tools for exchange.
