Settimana della Legalità 2019 a Como dal 8 al 12 aprile

The Municipality of Como has recently presented the event Legality Week 2019 which will begin on Monday 8th April and end on Friday 12th April.
The first day will start with the dedication of the library to Paolo Borsellino, on the fiftieth anniversary of the transfer of the municipal library to its current location.
The five events proposed this year will all be held in the morning, from 9.30 to 12.30, at the Municipal Library of Como.

The topics

This initiative aims to spread and increase awareness of the Mafia phenomenon.
And not only that, it also wants to remember those who were the people who tried to oppose to this establishment.

Conferences, interviews, debates

During the different days several conferences, interviews and debates will take place that will involve famous people.

Present at the event:
Benedetto Madonia, director of the Center for Social Studies against the Mafia.
Alessandro Galimberti, President of the Order of Journalists of Lombardy and National President of Reporters.
Fiammetta Borsellino, daughter of Paolo Borsellino.

Furthermore, it must be remembered that several public schools have been involved.
About 500 children will attend the meetings. For this reason, in order to make it more interactive and engaging for the participants in the initiative will be shown the video of the last intervention by Paolo Borsellino and the film In guerra per amore.

Finally, you can visit the exhibition with the works created for the occasion by the boys of ISIS Paolo Carcano in Como.
The works will be exhibited until Saturday 13 April.
