Vintage motorboat rally on Lake Como from 3th to 16th June

Also this year the tenth edition of the Vintage Motorboat Rally on Lake Como is back, an event organized by ASDEC Association of Vintage and Classic Hulls. The event will take place between Villa d’Este and Lake Como in the days from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th June, the month in which the lake is at its peak and still not too crowded.

The Rally

The initiative consists of three days of navigation along the entire perimeter of the lake with a vast program of visits to historic villas (eg Villa d’Este, Villa del Balbianello and Villa Carlotta), to small charming towns on Lake Como (eg Varenna, Bellagio, Isola Comacina) and finally at the Museo Barca Lariana.

In addition, a truly special base of support, one of the best resorts in Europe, will host our boats in its private port and will put at its disposal its excellent catering facilities and hotels. We are obviously talking about Villa d’Este!

Launching of motorboats, refueling and mooring at the docks of Villa d’Este

Friday 14/6

Navigation on the eastern part of the lake – Bellagio / Varenna / Isola Comacina
Briefing
Navigation along the west coast of the lake to Bellagio
Continue to Varenna (ancient fishing village)
Lunch in trattoria on the beautiful and full of history Isola Comacina and return to Cernobbio
Gala dinner in the columns room of Villa d’Este

Saturday 15/6

Navigation of the western part of the lake – Menaggio / Pianello
Briefing
Visit to the most beautiful historic villas of the lake: Villa del Balbianello and Villa Carlotta
Visit to the Lariana Boat Museum (a unique patrimony of 450 boats including sails, motorboats, typical Larian boats and strictly vintage nautical material)
Dinner in Cernobbio.
