Until Sunday, 27 September 2026, Palazzo del Broletto and the Pinacoteca Civica di Como are hosting “Turner. The Enchantment of Lake Como and the Italian Landscape”, an exhibition dedicated to William Turner, one of the leading figures of English Romanticism.
Curated by Elizabeth Brooke and conceived and organised by the Municipality of Como and the Tate Modern in London, the exhibition explores Turner’s distinctive vision of the Italian landscape, with a particular focus on Lake Como.
The exhibition is spread across two venues in the heart of the city: Palazzo del Broletto, in Piazza Duomo, and the Pinacoteca Civica di Como, at Via Diaz 84.
Special opening until 9 pm on Sunday, 27 September
For the closing day on Sunday, 27 September, the exhibition will remain open until 9 pm, with last admission at 8:30 pm.
Admission will be free from 6 pm, offering one final opportunity to experience the exhibition in the evening.
It is also a great opportunity to spend a few hours exploring Como’s historic centre before ending the day surrounded by art and landscapes inspired by Italy and Lake Como.
