New in this early autumn 2018! 🙂
We are talking about the very first edition of GASTROLARIO is the annual review of dishes and typical products of the province of Como.
The objective of the initiative is to promote the typical cuisine of the province of Como , enhancing the artistic talent of the chefs.

THE GASTROLARIO INITIATIVE

From 1 to 31 October 2018 58 restaurants will present, within their gastronomic proposals, a Gastronomy menu designed specifically for the review and created with products, recipes and typical dishes of the local tradition, in classical form or completely reinterpreted by the chefs.
THREE DIFFERENT GASTRONOMIC SECTIONS: hilly, lake and mountain. These are subdivided into three other sub-categories: classical, reinterpreted, freely inspired.

A special technical commission (composed of journalists of the sector and chef of the Association of Cooks of the province of Como) will collect the various recipes proposed that will form, year after year, the “general repertoire” of typical Como cuisine.

At the end of the festival each chef will “tell” his gastronomic choices during the “strong” night of the gastronomic Oscars in Como “.
