Camminare fa bene e diverte: the events of March 2019

Here are the appointments of March 2019 to walk in company with the Associazione Camminare fa bene & diverte.

Friday 1st March
Tosnacco Carate Urio Church of Santa Marta
Meeting at 2.00 pm Piazza Tosnacco parking area Tosnacco is a fraction of Moltrasio. Strada Regina Nuova at the traffic lights, turn left following the indications.
Route: Sentiero Verde Tosnacco Church of Santa Marta and back.
Difference in altitude of about 60 m on a path in the woods and for a short stretch of paved road 6 km duration 2.30.
Silvia Fasana will accompany us, explaining to us the Church of Santa Marta. Contribution € 2.00.

Friday 8 March
Woman walking on the occasion of Women’s Day.
Meeting at 13.45 San Giovanni Como station where Fabio Cani will welcome us to tell us the story of the convent of San Giovanni in Pedemonte and the Inquisition period
13.40 hours departure with the train to Cucciago.
3pm Arrive at Cucciago station walk in the woods of the area.
Route: easy on the path, cobbled and asphalt Km 6 Difference in height m 60.
Return for 18 hours.
It is advisable to buy a return ticket before 13.45.

Friday 15 March
Civita Baita Carla.
Meeting at 14.00 Church of San Nicola Civiglio. Take the road that goes up to Ponzate and continue after the cemetery, you pass the indication Civiglio keeping to the right for m. 500. km 6 forest path with a difference in height of m. 400 but that rises gently. Duration 2.30 hours.

Saturday 16 March
To know the high lake: Dongo
Meeting at 10.00 am Dongo Palazzo Manzi Piazza Paracchini Dongo
Visit the palace and the multimedia museum of the end of the war, accompanied by a guide.
12.00: Visit to the church of Santa Maria in Martinique accompanied by a guide.
12.30 pm: Free lunch in the bars and restaurants of the village.
2 pm: Walk to the lake of 6 km on a cycle path and partly state highway with a view of the lake.
Contribution for guide and museum € 12.00.
Registration by Monday 11 March.

Venerdì 22 Marzo
Spina Verde.
Ritrovo ore 14 parcheggio chiesa del Pittore Colverde.
Si trova salendo sulla destra ( seguire le indicazioni) per chi viene da Como tra Cavallasca e Parè.
Percorso ad anello nel bosco su sentieri in parte anche sassosi con dislivello m 100 km 6 Durata 2.30.

Friday, March 22nd
Green Plug.
Meeting at 14.00 parking at the Colverde Painter’s Church.
It is found going up on the right (to follow the indications) for who comes from Como between Cavallasca and Parè.
Ring route in the forest on partly stony paths with difference in height m 100 km 6 Duration 2.30.
