The Villa del Balbianello is owned by the FAI and is a splendid nineteenth-century residence on Lake Como, surrounded by a unique and wonderful garden.
One of the most beautiful scenery in the Lario where the Villa del Balbianello overlooks the tip of the small wooded peninsula of Lavedo, stretches out over the waters of the center of Lake Como.
The Villa was donated to FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) in 1988 by Guido Monzino, his last owner, from entrepreneur, collector and passionate traveler.
Villa del Balbianello will reopen to the public from Friday 15 March 2019 to Monday 6 January 2020 with the following hours:
• every day except Mondays and Wednesdays except public holidays, from 10am to 6pm
Last admission to the Garden at 5.15pm.
Last entrance to the Villa at 4.30pm subject to availability.
Last admission to the Garden at 4.00pm.
Last entry to the Villa at 3.30pm subject to availability.
