The traditional Fiera di Sant’Antonio in Erba is back again this year, organized for two years by the Municipality of Erba after the dissolution of the Committee for the Fiera di Sant’Antonio.
A fair full of attractions that every year is able to attract many people.
PROGRAM
Sunday 12 January 2020
The first novelty of the new edition of the fair is the blessing of the children’s games at 11 am at the Church of Sant’Antonio.
The traditional parade of tractors is organized later each year organized by the Auto Club Amarcord of Erba di Pasquale Lioni which will culminate outside the Church with the blessing given by Don Alessandro, parish priest of Buccinigo.
In the afternoon starting from 2.30 pm the faithful will be able to pray and visit the church where the Holy Relic will be present.
At 5pm there will be Holy Mass.
On the day of the Saint, Friday 17 January, scheduled appointment with the Purcel bonfire, in Piazza San Giovanni de La Salle.Saturday 18 January 2020
Another novelty introduced this year. At 8.30 pm a vespers in Latin from the ancient office of the Madonna.
Sunday 19 January 2020
Last day of the fair dedicated to religious ceremonies.
Solemn Mass at 10 am with the raised procession of the brotherhoods (departure from the Church of Santa Marta).
The ceremony will be accompanied by the bell ringers of the city of Bergamo.
The blessing of bread and salt will follow.
In the afternoon starting from 2.30 pm the faithful will be able to pray and visit the church where the Holy Relic will be present.
At 5pm the final mass.
