Anyone looking for classical concerts in Como in 2026 has a new event series to add to their calendar: “La Grande Musica a San Carpoforo” (“Great Music at San Carpoforo”), the first edition of a concert series promoted by Nuove Traiettorie Sonore in the historic Basilica di San Carpoforo. Five evenings of classical music, running from June to October, all with free admission.

The concert series takes place in the Basilica di San Carpoforo, one of the oldest places of worship in the city, and offers a musical journey spanning four centuries of chamber and organ repertoire. The project is a collaboration between Nuove Traiettorie Sonore, the Marco Enrico Bossi Festival, the Brescia Chamber Orchestra, #MUSICOM, EXPOMUS, Cattedrale di Como and Basilica di San Carpoforo Como under the patronage of the Municipality of Como.
