Boscultura at Schignano 6° edition - from 1 to 9 June 2019

The 6th edition of BOSCULTURA starts with a new format, guests and many artists from Saturday 1 to Sunday, June 9, 2019 in Schignano (Valle Intelvi)!

A natural art event with an annual appointment, where the highlights are the creation and installation of new wooden works along a suggestive and panoramic path: The Path of Expressions.
The Path of Expressions, inaugurated 6 years ago, has been expanded and enriched from year to year: 59 wooden sculptures have been inaugurated.

This year’s NEWS will be the change of the location where the masked artists will realize their works. That is the fulcrum of the activity of the maskers (wood sculptors) will be inside the village of Schignano, with the aim of enhancing the place that allowed to celebrate the work that was done with so much passion and enthusiasm.

The theme of the new edition of BOSCULTURA is “The Roots of the Path: Art through the streets”, which provides a full calendar of events.
Guest of honor will be Davide Van De Sfroos, the poet Vito Trombetta and many other artists.

THE PROGRAMME

Saturday 1 June 2019:

10.00: artists will work in Occagno, at Schignano;
16.30: jugglers shows in addition to animation for adults and children until evening;
19.00: in square San Giovanni, kitchen will be open for everyone;
21.00: live music with Virginia and Les Chats Noirs.

Sunday 2 June 2019:

10.00: visit with the artists to the artwork and finissage;
15.00 circa: Davide Van De Sfroos will present his books “Ladri di foglie” and “Taccuino d’ombre”.

Saturday 8 June 2019:

17.00: meeting point at Rifugio Prabello, where the poet Vito Trombetta will read stories and poems; following themed dinner with artists and possibility of overnight stay (ask).

Sunday 9 June 2019:

09.30: meeting point with the guide and artists at Sassetto (Sasso Gordona) for a guided tour to ”Artwork of the Path of Expressions”, with a geologist who will explain the formation of the territory.
The day will continue to Azienda Agrigola La Pratolina all’Alpe Comana for lunch.
