to a close, the event that every year transforms <strong>Villa Erba in Cernobbio<\/strong> into a meeting place for art, botany and landscape culture.<br \/>\nDedicated to the theme <strong>\u201cEden\u201d<\/strong>, this year\u2019s edition celebrated biodiversity, freedom and the wild beauty of nature, placing <strong>wild edible plants<\/strong> at the center \u2014 symbols of balance between humans and the environment.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Antonia Klugmann Awarded the \u201cPer un Giardinaggio Evoluto\u201d Prize<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The <strong>\u201cPer un Giardinaggio Evoluto\u201d 2025 Award<\/strong> was presented to Michelin-starred chef <strong>Antonia Klugmann<\/strong>, owner of the restaurant <em>L\u2019Argine a Venc\u00f2<\/em>.<br \/>\nKnown for her conscious and sustainable cuisine, Klugmann has made the use of <strong>wild edible herbs<\/strong> a true gastronomic manifesto.<br \/>\nAs explained by <strong>Moritz Mantero<\/strong>, President of Orticolario, she was chosen \u201cfor her ability to combine authenticity, respect for raw materials and an ethical vision that reconciles humankind with nature.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The award, designed by <strong>Produzione Privata<\/strong> by Michele and Pico De Lucchi, is a sculpture made of solid canaletto walnut and silk printed by <strong>Mantero 1902<\/strong>: a symbolic passing of the torch between the 2024 and 2025 guests of honor.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Orticolario 2025 Lake Como: Winners of the International Creative Spaces Competition<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The afternoon featured the awards ceremony for the best creative spaces.<br \/>\nThe <strong>\u201cGolden Leaf of Lake Como\u201d Award<\/strong> was presented to <strong>Spazio Miretti \u2013 \u201cUno scrigno di natura rigenerante\u201d<\/strong> by <strong>Flavio Miretti, Brigitta Balestri and Matilde Tonelli<\/strong>, recognized for portraying Eden as a multisensory and accessible ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Other awards included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Empathy Award<\/strong> to <em>Il giardino dei giunchi \u2013 Ecospirituale<\/em> by <strong>Daniela Giraudo<\/strong>, for its poetic and symbolic interpretation of Eden.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Villa Carlotta Award<\/strong> and <strong>Grandi Giardini Italiani Award<\/strong> to <em>Viaggio Primordiale<\/em> by <strong>Oasi Studio<\/strong>, for creating an immersive sensory experience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Press Award<\/strong> to <em>Hortus\/Silva<\/em> by <strong>Amorfini Garden<\/strong>, for the narrative and visual strength of the installation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gardenia Award<\/strong> to <em>DZONOT<\/em> by <strong>Jonathan Arnaboldi and Matteo Pellican\u00f2<\/strong>, an installation recreating a tropical Eden in the central pavilion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Art, Ethics and Beauty in the Heart of Villa Erba Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>More than just gardens: Orticolario 2025 Lake Como also celebrated art and design.<br \/>\nThe jury awarded Japanese artist <strong>Kimiyasu Kato<\/strong> for his work <em>La Mela<\/em>, combining technique, ecological message and evocative value.<br \/>\nAmong the exhibitors, special recognition went to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Natura Maestra<\/strong> for its extensive collection of wild edible plants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cactusmania by Manera<\/strong> for the specimen of <em>Operculicarya decaryi<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mast Ceramics<\/strong> for best product display.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fratelli Leonelli<\/strong> for the harmonious use of iron and plants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>President\u2019s Award<\/strong> was finally presented to <strong>Marco Gramaglia<\/strong> for his contribution to the knowledge of wild edible plants and for
