Villa Melzi d’Eril<\/strong> on the western lakeside of Bellagio<\/strong> will reopen its doors from Saturday 23 March 2019<\/strong>.<\/span>
\nA unique opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful villas on Lake Como in the extraordinary and picturesque Bellagio.<\/span>
\nFamous for its fantastic garden, the chapel of Villa Melzi and its museum.<\/span>
\nFurthermore you can find Egyptian, Etruscan, Roman, Renaissance and Neoclassical sculptures.<\/p>\n

VILLA MELZI D’ERIL<\/h3>\n
\n
Villa Melzi d’Eril was completed in 1810 by Giocondo Albertolli,<\/strong> commissioned by Francesco Melzi<\/strong> d’Eril<\/strong> named Duca di Lodi by Napoleon.<\/span>
\nDimora del Melzi<\/strong>, even after his political career, was decorated and furnished by famous artists of the time: the Appiani and the Bossi painters, the Canova and the Comolli sculptors, the bronze Manfredini.<\/span><\/p>\n

The villa is introduced by a beautiful English garden – with monuments, memorabilia, rare exotic plants, ancient trees – which develops harmoniously along the shores of the lake, south of the inhabited area.<\/span>
\nBefore reaching the villa,<\/strong> go along a tree-lined avenue, after which you reach the large terrace facing the villa, where you can admire the landscape of the central lake and the harmony of the building which is accessed via a scenic staircase.<\/p>\n

\nIt will be open every day from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
