Round number this year for Orticolario <\/strong> that returns more in shape than ever with its 10 \u00b0 edition <\/strong> to Villa Erba <\/strong> to Cernobbio, <\/strong> in the marvelous setting of our Lake Como <\/strong>.
\n From Friday 5 to Sunday 7 October 2018 <\/strong> do not take commitments!
\nMake sure you have a ticket to visit the most awaited GREEN exhibition of the year, dedicated to the passion for the garden and for nature in all its nuances. This year’s theme is GAME <\/strong> and the plant \/ flower is SAGE. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The title of this year’s 10th edition of Orticolario is: “Sage who can”. <\/h3>\n\n

The park of the historic Villa Erba will be set up with the works proposed – inspired by the theme of the year – of the international competition “Spazi Creativi”, <\/strong> which is the essence of Orticolario.
\nLike every year, the event is enriched by a wide range of rare, unusual and collectible plants, artistic craftsmanship and design.
\nRich program of meetings and numerous educational and creative workshops for children.
\nBut not only that, Orticolario is a charitable purpose <\/strong> initiative, during the three days we collect contributions <\/strong> to be donated to associations <\/strong> of the Larian territory < strong> engage <\/strong> in the social. <\/strong><\/p>\n

COMPETITION SPACES CREATIVE <\/h3>\n

Eight finalists <\/strong> selected, evaluated by the Selection Committee, among numerous proposals sent by architects, designers, landscapers, artists, gardeners and nurserymen from all over Italy and Europe.
\nThey will literally put themselves into play by appealing to inspiration, irony, mystery, the sense of wonder.<\/p>\n

The finalists’ projects will be installed in the park of Villa Erba, from 5 to 7 October 2018 … so you can admire them, photograph them and share them!
\nThe creations will be evaluated by a international jury <\/strong> that will assign to the best realization the prize-sculpture “The golden leaf of Lake Como” <\/strong>, a vase with sinuous shapes on which waves a large leaf with “accents” of pure gold (24K), conceived and created by Gino Seguso of the historic Vetreria Artistica Archimede Seguso di Murano (VE).<\/p>\n

Other prizes will be awarded: “Empatia” Award <\/strong> for a space that tells, communicates and excites. “Press” Award <\/strong> for the innovation of materials and eco-sustainability. “Arte” Award <\/strong> for a space where the balance between art and nature coexists, where different languages \u200b\u200bfind effective synthesis. “Grandi Giardini Italiani” Award <\/strong> for a space of lights and shapes that communicates tradition and innovation. Finally the “Visitors” award <\/strong> for the garden or the artistic installation voted by the public.<\/p>\n\n
